Hui-Kai Su is a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and serves as the Director of the Computer Center at National Formosa University in Taiwan. He received the B.S degree from I-Shou University, Taiwan, in 1999. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Chung-Cheng University in 2001 and 2006. He was an Assistant Professor at the department of computer science and information engineering, Nanhua University, between 2006 and 2009. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Formosa University in the spring of 2009. Professor Su also has held several key administrative leadership positions, including Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Dean of Student Affairs, Head of the Academic Affairs Division, and Head of the System Design Division. His primary research interests encompass communication networks, embedded systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), multimedia networks, network security, and high-speed networks. Professionally, he serves as the Secretary of the Sensors and Actuators (SEA) Technical Committee for the IEEE Consumer Technology Society (2023–2026). He is also an active member of IEEE, the Taiwanese Association for Consumer Electronics (TACE), the Information Service Association of Chinese Colleges and Universities, and IEICE.
